Back Over Prevention: Sensing System: Camera Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2019-2026 vehicles. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. A software error may prevent the rearview camera image from displaying as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Risk: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 14, 2026. Owners may contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 90TV. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on December 23, 2025.

Risk: On some Audi A6 and A7 vehicles manufactured within a specific period the front passenger airbag installed may show signs of damage in transit. As a result in the event of an accident in which the front passenger airbag is triggered its restraining effect will be hindered.
Fix: The front passenger airbag unit must be replaced on the affected vehicles.
EU Safety GateThe front left side airbag is not properly fixed and the seat may cause the area covered by the airbag to move slightly.As a result, the protective effect of the airbag is reduced, increasing the risk of injury in case of an accident.

My Audi RS6 has experienced a failure involving the engine cooling system/water pump that requires repair. This appears to be a recurring issue among C8 RS6 owners. Other owners have reported water-pump failures, coolant loss, overheating, drivetrain malfunction warnings, turbo underboost faults, and vehicles entering reduced-power or limp mode.
