Exposed junction box in engine bay as well as water leaking through yellow grommet destroying footwell electronics as well as shorting junction box in engine bay. Water ingress also leaking into glove box electrical fuses and components. Also water leaking into trunk shorting out telemetrics battery as well as fuses of passenger side trunk fuse box. My ac compressor also blew simultaneously. There’s an active TSB for other models facing the same issue and should also cover this model as well.
The contact owns a 2015 BMW 650I. The contact stated that while the vehicle was at a red light, the vehicle accelerated and then lost motive power. There was no warning prior to the failure; however, the engine light illuminated immediately after the vehicle stalled, and the contact was able to coast to safety. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the engine had seized. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 140,000.
The car is leaking from the third rear brake light (at the rear roof of the car). It appears the seals and possible clips/fasteners have failed and water is entering the car during rain or water immersion from the rear brake light, to the back seat, trunk, and rear floor. There is now visible mold in the car.
RIM'S CRACKING I PURCHASED THIS CAR IN AUGUST OF 2018 ACCORDING TO THE ODOMETER IN HAD JUST A LITTLE MORE THAN 28000 MILES OTHER THAN THE RIMS I'VE BEEN VERY PLEASE WITH THE CAR I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE PLACE WHERE I PURCHASED IT THEY ACCESS THE DAMAGES AND SAID THAT THEY COULD BE REPAIRED LESS THAN 2 MONTHS LATER AFTER THE REPAIR ONE OF THEM HAS CRACKED AGAIN THE CRACKS WAS ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE RIM I HAVE ALSO DISCOVERED THAT ON ONE OF THEM THERE'S A CRACK ON THE SPOKE AND THAT'S WHAT PROMPTED ME TO FILE THIS COMPLAINT I'VE HAD PROBLEMS WITH 3 OUT OF 4 RAMS THAT I KNOW OF. I'M SERIOUSLY…
THE REAR TIRE WAS LEAKING CAUSING AN UNSAFE ROAD CONDITION. WHEN THE TIRE WAS INSPECTED IT WAS FOUND THAT THE WHEEL HAD A CRACK IN THE SUPPORT DUE TO A DEFECT IN DESIGN. THE DEALER STATES THAT MANY OF THE 5 AND 6 SERIES WITH THIS WHEEL HAVE ISSUES AND OFFERED ME A "WARRANTY PACKAGE" FOR THEM FOR $1700. WHEN DOING RESEARCH ONLINE THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM AND A CLEAR SAFETY ISSUE. WHEN USED WITH RUN-FLATS (WHAT THEY SUGGEST AND REQUIRE) THE WHEEL TAKES TOO MUCH STRESS AND ULTIMATELY CRACKS. MY VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 25,000 MILES ON IT AND IT HAS A CRACKED WHEEL WITH NO REASON. THIS IS A CLEAR…
VEHICLE IS EXHIBITING AN INTERMITTENT VIBRATION THAT APPEARS TO BE COMING FROM UNDER THE VEHICLE AND CAN BE FELT IN BOTH THE DRIVER, PASSENGER SEAT AND CENTER CONSOLE WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. TOOK VEHICLE IN TO THE DEALER TO DIAGNOSE PROBLEM. GENERAL MANAGER AS WELL AS SHOP FOREMAN DROVE VEHICLE TO CONFIRM ABNORMAL VIBRATION AND SCHEDULED SERVICE. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS AT DIAGNOSING PROBLEM, I WAS TOLD THAT THE VIBRATION IS NORMAL WITH THIS MODEL. THERE ARE TWO PROBLEMS WRONG WITH THAT ANSWER, 1) IF THIS IS A NORMAL VIBRATION, THEN WHY ATTEMPT TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE IN THE FIRST PLACE?…
THE TIRES BLEW OUT WHILE ON A ROAD TRIP AT APP 11,000 MILES, SEPARATION RIGHT UNDER THE RIM. TIRES ARE STILL UNDER WARRANTY. HOWEVER, GOODYEAR DUNLOP WON'T BE SQUARE WITH WARRANTY, MAKING THE WARRANTY OF NO VALUE. IN FACT THEY LIED ABOUT THE CAUSE AT FIRST. STILL HAVE THE TIRE FOR REVIEW.
DRIVERS SIDE DOOR OPEN ON ITS OWN, WILL NOT STAY SHUT , DEALSHIP HAS BEEN UNABLE TOO FIX IT? SIDE DOOR DOESN'T CLOSE REPAIRED FOUR TIMES . ENGINE LIGHT COME ON? ROOF LATCH NO AIR BAGS WENT OF?DEALSHIP SAYS CODES SAY?THEY DID?

To see whether a recall is still open on your car, enter your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls (U.S.) or your registration at check-vehicle-recalls.service.gov.uk (UK). Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA; complaints are what trigger investigations and recalls.
