Purchased 2024 XM in July 2024. Since then all 4 rims have cracked. Quote by BMW to replace $2500. If replaced I would have paid 10k in a year to replace wheels plus the 3k spent in May and June 2025 for a set of new tires. This week my PSI was zero. I could hear the air coming out. Took XM to a tire shop to find out nothing was wrong. The tire was fine and the previously repaired crack was fine. The shop added air and it held. Then the next day, I could hear air seeping from another tire. My husband drove it around the subdivision and came back home to add air. The seeping had stopped…

Counts are a starting point, not a verdict: popular models collect more complaints because more of them are on the road, and NHTSA does not verify individual reports. To see whether a recall is still open on your car, enter your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls (U.S.) or your registration at check-vehicle-recalls.service.gov.uk (UK). Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA; complaints are what trigger investigations and recalls.
