Auto hold was on, radar cruise control was set and as I was merging in traffic a sharp smell of burning started. The cruise control refused to disengage until I parked the car in garage. Eventually burn smell ended but seems like brake was stuck while acceleration causing a burn smell. It seems like brake could get stuck to wheels perhaps when auto hold is on even when driving? Auto break hold is a feature which keeps the break on while car is stopped.
the car jumped/jerked like it was trying to change gears while accelerating and two times when at a complete stop at a light. The car was taken to dealership on Sep 2, 2025 and needed a full transmission replacement. The parts were on back order and the vehicle was not complete until November 20th of 2025
This morning, I stopped to open the gates at work, car was idling. When I got back into the car, put it in drive and started to slowly move forward the FORWARD COLLISION SYSTEM slammed on my brakes and lights flashing on my dash. I backed up...there was absolutely nothing in my way. This has happened numerous times, different places and while turning a corner at a very slow speed. Never nothing in the way. Will definitely be taking it in to have it checked now.
On October 2, 2026, while driving my 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV AWD at approximately 55 miles per hour, I approached a stop sign while traveling downhill on a wet road. I had let off the gas and had slowed to about 35 mls per hour before I applied the break. The road was wet from rain, but I did not believe the vehicle was hydroplaning. They rain had stopped and roads were only moderately wet. I applied the brake pedal normally and continuously held the pedal down. I did not pump or release the brake pedal. The vehicle appeared to activate ABS. I could feel what seemed like repeated braking andโฆ

Since buying the car in 2024 I have experienced multiple incidents where the system hard brakes for no reason, including times while driving. The emergency recall on this vehicle was repaired last year and since that repair this issue has occurred 2 more times, once earlier in 2026 and then most recently as yesterday despite claims by GM the issue has been fixed. My daughter currently drives this vehicle and is afraid she is going to get into an accident because of this issue. I tried to initiate a buyback but due to the miles on the vehicle GM would only settle for 4k.
There was a wreck up ahead, and two tow trucks with their emergency lights flashing were blocking the left two lanes. Traffic was stop-and-go due to the existing wreck. I was traveling in the lane to the right of the tow trucks as I approached. I stopped about 1โ2 car lengths behind them. When traffic started to move, I began to move forward and advanced about a car length when the automatic emergency braking (AEB) activated and slammed on the brakes, even though the path in front of me was clear. The person behind me rear-ended me. Luckily, no one was physically hurt, but there is damage toโฆ

Driver Information Centre (DIC) and Infotainment go dark. This has happened twice now over the last 2 months. While driving suddenly the infotainment goes blank and loses the radio and then the DIC follows by going blank (dark). So I was left with no speed indication. The car drives normally during that time. After 30 seconds to a minute the screens come back on as if it rebooted while driving.

Counts are a starting point, not a verdict: popular models collect more complaints because more of them are on the road, and NHTSA does not verify individual reports. To see whether a recall is still open on your car, enter your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls (U.S.) or your registration at check-vehicle-recalls.service.gov.uk (UK). Had a safety problem?
