Electrical System: Ignition General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain replacement flip-key ignition transmitter assemblies sold as replacement equipment for 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro vehicles. GM dealers may have inadvertently sold these assemblies as replacement keys despite them having been recalled under NHTSA recall number 14V-346 (GM number 14294) when they were the original equipment assemblies. The driver may accidentally bump the ignition key with their knee, moving the ignition out of the run position and turning off the engine. NHTSA campaign 19E064000 · September 19, 2019 · Risk and fix

Risk: Once the engine is off, the vehicle can lose power steering and power braking, increasing the risk of a crash. The air bags may not deploy in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Fix: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, as necessary, replace the key with the flat blade design, free of charge. Interim notices informing owners of the safety risk were mailed November 6, 2019. Owners received a second notice and the recall began February 4, 2020. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N192223230.

Steering General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2014 Buick Regal, Cadillac XTS, Chevrolet Camaro and Chevrolet Impala vehicles. Improperly torqued fasteners may cause the steering intermediate shaft and the steering gear and/or the lower control arm and the lower ball joint to separate. NHTSA campaign 14V409000 · July 2, 2014 · Risk and fix

Risk: If any of the components separate, the vehicle may have a loss of steering, increasing the risk of a crash.

Fix: GM began to notify owners on June 27, 2014, and dealers will inspect the fasteners for correct torque, correcting them as necessary, free of charge. Owners may contact GM customer service at 1-800-521-7300 (Buick), 1-800-458-8006 (Cadillac) or 1-800-222-1020 (Chevrolet). GM's number for this recall is 14378.

Electrical System: Ignition General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling all 2010-2014 Chevrolet Camaro vehicles manufactured December 3, 2008 to May 23, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the driver may accidentally hit the ignition key with their knee, unintentionally knocking the key out of the run position, turning off the engine. NHTSA campaign 14V346000 · June 20, 2014 · Risk and fix

Risk: If the key is not in the run position, the air bags may not deploy if the vehicle is involved in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Additionally, a key knocked out of the run position could cause loss of engine power, power steering, and power braking, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.

Fix: GM will notify owners, and dealers will remove the key blade from the original flip key/RKE transmitter assemblies, and provide two new keys and two key rings per key. The recall began August 25, 2014. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is 14294. Note: Until the recall has been performed, it is very important that drivers adjust their seat and steering column to allow clearance between their knee and the ignition key.

Equipment: Other: Labels General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2013 and 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Coupes manufactured June 9, 2013, through September 6, 2013. In the affected vehicles, the required air bag warning label on the sun visor may peel off. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 208 "Occupant Crash Protection." NHTSA campaign 13V463000 · September 26, 2013 · Risk and fix

Risk: If the air bag warning label detaches from the visor, the driver and front seat passenger may not be warned of the risks of air bag deployment, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

Fix: GM will notify owners, and instruct owners how to inspect the visor sticker. As necessary, dealers will replace the sun visor, free of charge. The recall began on October 28, 2013. Owners may contact GM at 1-800-521-7300. GM's recall campaign number is 13284.

I am filing a safety complaint regarding my 2014 Chevrolet Camaro V6 with the 3.6L LFX engine because the vehicle intermittently stalls and/or will not restart after being driven or exposed to high ambient temperatures. I live in [XXX], where extreme temperatures and extended idling in traffic are normal driving conditions. The vehicle can operate normally and then experience a fuel-delivery-related failure after becoming hot. It may stall or fail to restart and can remain unable to start until it cools down. This makes the vehicle unpredictable and unsafe to operate because I cannot know when…

Anytime the break is pressed it causes the center console from working properly: audio stops, display does not work, turn signal sounds do work, lock/unlock buttons don’t work, AC system does not work. Radio console should be recalled. This issue started over 4 years ago and it continues to get progressively worse. Costly to repair.

Vehicle was parked in driveway at home on slight incline (<3% grade). Parking brake failed but vehicle is a manual and was in 1st gear so it didn't move noticeably. Discovered when pushed in clutch to start vehicle and had to slam hard on brake to stop vehicle moving backwards down incline. Took vehicle to local dealership and paid for inspection. Linkage to parking brake below center console had broken free at joint (lead solder ball popped off cable). No new parts are available to repair, limited availability for used parts (have yet to find one). Dealer service advisor made comment that it…

My 2014 Camaro SS, has about 35k miles on it now, and only drive during the summer. I was looking for a parking spot at work, went to turn right, and the steering wheel totally locked up on me, would not turn left or right from a straight position, ended up slamming on the brakes for i wouldn't run into the embankment in front of me. Put the car in Park, kept playing with the steering wheel, and it finally came free and turned right, after trying to go from left to right a couple of times. So put it back in drive and it performed normally the rest of the day. Sometimes when parking the car…

The radio makes a loud pop & makes me jump as it goes on & off whenever it wants to. As this happens, the dash light turns off, the heater/ac turns off, the signal lights stop flashing, & when the turn signal is activated it makes a loud static noise that flashes through the speakers. It is a safety issue because it's distracting & it's dangerous for signal lights not to work properly. The car only had 60,000 miles when this began. I've been told there are computer chips, ECM modules, a new stereo with On Star navigation & I honestly can't remember all that was tested wrong with the electrical…

There is a distracting pop in the radio which also affects the signal lights, the heater and air conditioner controls, and the controls for the radio itself. There are numerous complaints on the web for this same year vehicle with the same problem. It is very distracting as when the radio pops it makes a loud noise that is similar to running over something or hitting something with your vehicle. Also the tail light on the driver side won't stay on and the headlight on the passenger side has a short in it also. These problems I have been listed numerous times on the web. I have had several…
