Air Bags General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2019 Buick Encore, Chevrolet Spark, Traverse, and Trax vehicles. The Sensing Diagnostic Module (SDM) on these vehicle may not have been turned off of "manufacturing mode," preventing the air bags from deploying in the event of a crash.
Risk: If the air bags do not deploy in the event of a crash, it can increase the risk of injury.
Fix: GM will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the SDM module to the correct mode, free of charge. The recall began November 6, 2018. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300 and Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is 18365.

LandGolden LG17 185/55R15 82V All Season Radial Tires were purchased from Amazon (seller: Priority Tire) and professionally installed. Tires have been balanced and rotated approximately every 5000 miles. Less than 30,000 miles and tires are already at 3/32" tread due to manufacturing defect. Older tires on same car (different brand tires) have worn down significantly less than these LandGolden tires. The advertised tread life for these tires are 65,000 miles.

I have a 2019 Chevy Spark after doing research it appears that the Spark has a high transmission failure
Friday morning, on June 16th I went out to start my car and I noticed an I code 95 on my dashboard. It also showed my ABS light, traction light, and airbag/seatbelt light. When I researched the I code 95 it said that my car had been in an accident and the airbag and seatbelt needs to be replaced. When I came home the previous night on June 15th there were no lights showing on my dashboard and I hadn't been in an accident. I also had pulled into my designated parking spot with my front tires facing the curb. When I checked my car I noticed no dents or scratches on my car. I then went to Bob…
Collision to the front of car. It bent the frame but airbags still did not deploy.
AIRBAG CODE (95) THE CAR JUST GOT OUT OF THE SHOP FROM A FAULTY TRANSMISSION AND A WARPED PISTON(#3) I HAD IT BACK FOR TWO WEEKS AND NOW THE AIRBAG CODE COMES ON. I DROVE ABOUT FIVE MINUTES AND THEN PARK THE CAR DOWN TO ONE THE CODE CAME ON. I CLEARED IT SHUT THE CAR OFF THEM STARTED IT CAME BACK
THE ALARM GOES OFF FOR NO REASON WHEN PARKED AND NO ONE AROUND.
I BOUGHT THIS CAR A FEW AGO WITH ZERO MILES AND BRAND NEW. 4 MONTHS AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR I STARTED TO EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS WITH THE BRAKES. VERY LOUD NOISE WHEN I BRAKE AND IT FEELS AS IF THE CAR IS NOT GOING TO STOP. I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR 3 TIMES TO THE DEALER AND AFTER I DRIVE IT FOR 2 TO 3 MONTHS, THE PROBLEM STARTS AGAIN. I ONLY DRIVEN THIS CAR 15000 MILES SO AS YOU CAN SEE IS NOT LIKE I DRIVE IT A LOT. I AM VERY CONCERNED FOR MY SAFETY AND THE DEALER DOESN'T SEEM TO CARE ABOUT MY SAFETY. MY PARTNER WHO HAPPENS TO BE A US RETIRED MARINE DOESN'T EVEN WANT TO GET IN THE CAR OF FEAR OF HAVING…
I HAD AN ACCIDENT ON 3/5/2020 IN MY 2019 CHEVY SPARK AND THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. FORTUNATELY I DID NOT SUFFER SERIOUS INJURY: BADLY BRUISED FOREARM AND ELBOW FROM HITTING THE STEERING WHEEL, WHIPLASH AND MUSCLE ACHES ON MY TOTAL RIGHT SIDE OF BODY AND BACK. I UNDERSTAND THERE IS A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM AND I HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED TO COME IN FOR SERVICE AS OF TODAY.
GOT THE CAR IN JANUARY OF 2019. UNDER 18,000 MILES AND I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY SAW SMOKE AND TOOK IT TO CHEVROLET THEY SAID THE BRAKES NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED WITH BOOSTERS AND OTHER PARTS
THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION IN A SCHOOL ZONE OF 35 MPH ON A STREET. IT HAD A FRONT END IMPACT, WHICH IT REAR-ENDED THE CAR IN FRONT OF IT AND THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. THE AIRBAG BY THE FEET, DEPLOYED A PIECE OF METAL OR PLASTIC AND BLEW THROUGH THE CALF DOWN TO THE BONE. THE WOUND WAS 4-5 INCHES IN LENGTH AND REQUIRED 13 STITCHES. THERE WAS BARELY ANY DAMAGE TO THE CAR AND THERE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A HOLE BLOWN THROUGH THE LEG. I THINK THESE AIRBAGS NEED TO BE RECALLED AS THEY ARE DANGEROUS AND CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY.

Counts are a starting point, not a verdict: popular models collect more complaints because more of them are on the road, and NHTSA does not verify individual reports. To see whether a recall is still open on your car, enter your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls (U.S.) or your registration at check-vehicle-recalls.service.gov.uk (UK). Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA; complaints are what trigger investigations and recalls.
