While traveling on I-684 at highway speed, my 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe with 43,000 miles suddenly shut off without warning and automatically shifted into neutral. I had a complete loss of propulsion. As a car guy who has been following the GM 6.2L engine recall issue, I suspected it could be that. I was traveling in the left lane and had to carefully coast across active lanes of traffic to reach the shoulder. My wife and two young children were in the vehicle, and the sudden loss of propulsion created a significant risk of collision. There were no warning illuminations, messages, or other symptoms…

Following a GM-initiated over-the-air (OTA) software update on May 18, 2026, my vehicle's windshield wipers became permanently inoperable — stuck in the "on" position with no ability to turn them off. This is not a gradual mechanical failure or wear-and-tear issue. The malfunction began immediately and directly as a result of a software update pushed by General Motors. Because the wipers cannot be controlled, I have been forced to remove the wiper fuse to make the vehicle driveable. This means I am currently operating a vehicle without functional windshield wipers — a federally mandated safety…
