Air Bags: Side/Window: Curtain General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Chevrolet Traverse and 2021-2022 Buick Enclave vehicles. The harness connector to the left or right side roof rail air bag may have incompatible electrical terminals, which could prevent the air bags from deploying in a crash.
Risk: Roof rail air bags that do not deploy as intended increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Fix: Dealers will replace the harness connector to the roof rail air bags, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 29, 2022. Owners may contact Buick customer service at 1-800-521-7300 or Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N212352140.

The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that while driving at 50 MPH, the vehicle began to shake violently, and all warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where a diagnosis determined that the transmission had failed and required replacement. The failure mileage was 105,000.
Exhaust leak- a crack in the front exhaust pipe causing a loud exhaust noise.
The transmission failed after picking up my son from daycare. I pulled on to the main road heading home. It started to speed up and suddenly started jerking back and forth causing cars behind me to slam on their brakes and then the car would not go over 15 mph. A few minutes later the check engine light came on and this is the first time it has come on. Called a tow truck and had it towed to a gm dealership they reproduced the issue and told me the transmission is bad and I need a new one because it is a sealed system it cannot be rebuilt. They quoted me $9900 for a new one and also said the…
My emergency parking brake keeps activating while I’m driving where it is engaging itself while I’m driving almost causing accidents
electrical, drivetrain, powertrain. While driving the vehicle a message popped up on the speedometer saying service battery chargeing system and battery saver mode. the is the second time that those messages have come up in the four years of ownership with the first time being in 2024. The second issue we have had with this vehicle was injectors going bad and causing a bad misfire making driveability rough. We have gone through three O2 sensors in the past 4 years. we have replaced the alternator and are fixing to replace it again. the driverside axle seal leaked. transmission slips bad. there…
Shifting into gears, there is a delay shifting into the next gear, there is bucking like its going to stall, it happens in traffic. I am worried it will stall and I will be in an accident.
After turning the car on, engaging reverse, and then retuning back to park (driver stepped out of vehicle once in park) the vehicle reversed 60 feet on its on through a parking lot with 2 children inside of the car (disengaged from park on its own while vehicle was running). The vehicle was ultimately stopped by a tree with damage to the tailgate and rear. The gear shift selector remained in park for the entire incident. A claim was filed with GM and the Traverse was initially labeled as a “intermittent failure” in my May 2026 claim interview. Post GM inspection, the vehicle is now deemed…
My front seat belt will not buckle at times, has happened multiple times. When I stop and go to park it will say shift to park
I am reporting a dangerous failure of the fuel supply control module in my vehicle, which caused the engine to stall and cut off during acceleration while driving in heavy, 45-60 mph traffic. While I was able to have the issue diagnosed and repaired by Newman’s Auto—with an invoice available—I believe this 44,000-mile vehicle experienced a premature failure. Given that this component is currently recalled on similar Chevrolet SUVs and trucks, I believe this model should be included in the recall. I can be reached at [XXX] or [XXX] for further information. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE…
Brakes began making noise soon after purchasing, was told the sound was normal. Eventually brakes started to fail car would not stop even at slow speeds. Was told it needed new brake pads. Replaced pads then a couple months pads began to grind and again brakes would not stop. Was told I needed to replace pads ice again.
I stopped for gas and when I went to start the car and leave, the parking brake did not disengage. I was stranded. This is the second issue I have had with the breaking/gear shift on this vehicle. It is a lemon
Driving home tonight there was a car in front of me so my low beams were on. I saw a deer approaching from the right side of the roadway while at the same time dropping down into a small dip in the road and because the headlights are so low I lost sight of the deer as it was then in the shadows with no illumination because the headlights were now facing further downward. I had to turn my high beams on coming to a complete stop to then see the deer to avoid hitting it. This is very unsafe. Small hills and dips cause you to lose sight of the road up ahead at night.
