While driving, the vehicle suffered a sudden, severe, and un-commanded complete loss of propulsion and motive power on a live roadway, posing an immediate crash hazard. * Sequential Fault Chain: 1. An audible, physical "pop" was heard emanating from beneath the engine bay/high-voltage system compartment. 2. Immediate loss of acceleration and propulsion. 3. Simultaneous illumination of the Check Engine Light, a "Service Charging System" warning message, and a "Turtle" (absolute critical limp-mode) dashboard icon. 4. Car completely powered off , abs replaced, transmission shifter , replaced batteries once and now the aux battery again, car not even 3 years old. Safety issue when vehicle is just dying while in motion
There were no warnings prior to the event. I was driving the vehicle and parked at a car wash to clean the interior. After cleaning, I started the car. I checked and the indicator light on the EPB (parking brake) button was off. I tried to move the vehicle but the parking brake was clearly engaged. I pressed the button several times. Nothing changed. The indicator light would not go on. I tried turning the car off/on. I tried to enter maintenance mode which failed without explanation - just a generic error. Finally, I got out, locked the car and waited ten minutes. When I got back in and…
Vehicle AC was blowing warm but car was operating normally with no obvious issues. After approximately three hours of driving car abruptly lost power and lit a warning light and shut off. The dealership was able to diagnose the AC failure, and now I understand that the AC is integrated into the battery system and inoperable AC failure constitutes a critical component failure leading to rapid overheating. No warning or reasonable means to anticipate this failure was supplied prior to incident. Additionally, the car is 2yrs old and should not be experiencing critical component failures related…
An authorized dealer did a recall repair on my vehicle without my explicit consent. Not verbally nor in writing. Completion of said repair resulted in a botched outcome. Service manager was made aware but did not remedy the situation.
While I was driving to drop my kids to school My Chrysler Pacifica PHEV dashboard chimed, the check engine light made an appearance, and the screen in my gauge cluster showed a large warning message. “Stop Safely, Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon.” I kept my foot in it and guided the Pacifica Hybrid through the off-ramp and into the rest stop’s parking lot And turned off the ignition and engine for 5 minutes and I started the engine and car allowed me to drive back home . The power tram warning got away that evening when I started my engine . The same problem came back again many times since then. I…
The vehicle was purchased used on 8/5/26 with no problems or recalls. I was driving home from the dealership on the highway about 1.5 hours and the vehicle had a warning light come on telling me to pull over safely and the vehicle would shut off. I did so. The vehicle would not restart. I called for a tow truck and was stranded for 2 hours. I had the vehicle towed to my local dealership service center because I was closer to home versus the dealer I bought it from. The vehicle is still under warranty and will get looked at. This is a huge frustrating situation.
2024 Chrysler Pacifica completely shutdown during a left turn. Engine died all electrical stopped functioning. Had to restart the vehicle to move the vehicle. This condition happened twice last week, but has not happened since. Fortunately it was a low speed situation rather than at highway speeds. Highway speed could have been a very serious situation with the potential of being rear-ended from high speed traffic. Vehicle has 27,500 miles on the odometer and was driving normally prior to the shutdowns. Chrysler dealer has been notified of the situation, but an appointment is 7-10 days out. No…

We purchased our 2024 Pacifica Pinnacle AWD new in July of 2024. The vehicle currently has 9,600 miles on it, and the issue has been present since it was new. We have experienced continuous issues while driving the vehicle at highway speeds, with the steering exhibiting a gap in responsiveness. The steering acts like there is a dead zone between 11 and 1 o'clock when turning the wheel, where nothing happens. Once the vehicle finally reacts to the driver's inputs, it causes the car to jerk from side to side. It is bad enough that it causes my entire family to become carsick during even short…
