The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V467000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to complete the recall repair was not available. The local dealer was contacted several times and confirmed that the parts were unavailable. The contact stated the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the issue.
Water is entering the vehicle and dripping onto the interior floorboards, particularly when the air conditioning is running. This has caused growth of mold and rust inside the vehicle. The vehicle has developed multiple dashboard warning lights, and the turn signals and windshield wipers have stopped functioning. Most concerning, the steering wheel has locked while the vehicle was in motion, leaving me unable to steer even though the engine remained running. This created a serious and immediate safety hazard. The vehicle has since become inoperable and will no longer start. The source of the…
The rear drive unit (RDU) deteriorated at 78k miles. I began to notice a shudder during low-speed turns with high steering angle. Upon inspection, metallic flakes were discovered in the RDU’s fluid, apparently indicating mechanical degradation of the internal clutch packs. Two separate Ford dealerships recommended complete RDU assembly replacement at a significant expense. I am concerned that an important drivetrain component could deteriorate this quickly, from normal driving use. I believe this could result in wheel drag/lockup or seizure while operating the vehicle. I have not experienced…
after the dealership executed Safety Recall 25S76, the vehicle immediately began violently sputtering and surging on public roads, and the service department actively concealed the resulting diagnostic fault codes.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 35 MPH, the vehicle failed to accelerate and lost motive power. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection. The contact stated that the failure was related to the powertrain control module (PCM). The dealer reportedly found a transmission failure, and the vehicle was not covered under warranty. The contact stated that there was sand and debris in the transmission. The vehicle had been driven on the beach. It was unknown whether any repairs were completed. The contact associated the failure…
Stripped differential. I was told by a service tech that the vehicle is safe to drive until it isn’t that Ford is aware but does not have a fix. It is available for inspection. The vehicle is getting worse, and I only drive short distances. Olathe Ford did the inspection. They will not give me a copy of the inspection. I have never received any warning lights whatsoever.
Formal Complaint: Unresolved Safety Hazard and Delayed Remedy (NHTSA Campaign 25V-467 / Ford Recall 25S76) I am writing to express severe concern regarding Ford Motor Company's ongoing failure to provide a permanent, physical fix for the cracked fuel injector fire hazard in my vehicle. Since the initial recall action in late 2022 (22V-859), Ford has repeatedly issued interim software updates and drain tubes rather than replacing the inherently defective hardware. It has been over four years without a definitive hardware remedy for a critical defect that carries a severe underhood fire risk…
My 2022 Ford Bronco Sport exhibits severe engine knocking and low fuel pressure, which are primary symptoms of open safety recalls 24S16 and 25S76. On 9/29/26, Seelye Ford of Kalamazoo charged me $220.21 out-of-pocket for a powertrain recall system software update. They are now refusing to inspect the physical fuel injectors or complete the safety recalls unless I pay out-of-pocket to replace an unrelated push-to-start button module, holding a federal safety recall hostage. The vehicle continues to malfunction identically after their software flash, making it a severe stalling and fire hazard…
The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V467000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The local dealer and manufacturer were contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure associated with the recall. The contact stated that while turning at slow speeds and while turning while in reverse, the vehicle was vibrating and shaking…
Brake components showing signs of failure at 28,000 miles on both front and rear brakes. Safety placed at risk given speed and general use of vehicle which includes passengers. This includes grinding stops, increasing foot pressure used to stop car, and under certain conditions reconsidering use of vehicle. Ford dealership inspected vehicle and is aware of issue and noted TSB (T25-2438) in service visit diagnosis. No warning lights present. Signs first appear as increased brake dust covering rim and tire areas, increasingly loud grinding and squealing of brakes whether in drive or reverse. No…
The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V467000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the contact was informed that the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact was advised to take the vehicle to the dealer if the vehicle experienced the failure. The manufacturer was contacted. The contact had not experienced a failure.
The vehicle is only a 2022 and has a jerky acceleration during non-highway driving with RPMs fluctuating. The tire, cruise control and seatbelt indicator lights are illuminated with no resolvable issue (the dealer clears them out and they come back). There’s an audible muffler rattle that has been present for a long time that the dealer says is normal. When I fuel up the engine audible bogs down. On a recent road trip to New York the vehicle vapor locked at a gas station and had to be jumped. The vehicle has been nothing but recalls and issues
