The automatic braking was activated when we were backing out of a driveway onto the road, there was nothing next to us in the driveway, there was a car that came over a hill but not close we definetely had time to get backed out. The brake engaged and stopped the truck, my husband put the truck in drive to pull forward and the truck accelerated quickly forward and would not stop the tires were squealing and locked up, the truck was still going forward, my husband tried putting the truck in park to stop and finally had to really shove it in park but it was not easy to get it to go in park…

I have a 2026 F150 3.5L Twin-turbo ECOBOOST Hybrid King Ranch. I have experienced the following behaviors: (1) rough transitions when climbing grades; (2) rough transitions when braking hard/coming down grades; (3) 10-speed transmission - electric motor slippage during de-accerelation (especially when Adapted Cruise is activated); (4) transmission seems to have gear hunting at low speeds/stop and go; and (5) harsh shifts/unpredictable downshifting with adaptive cruise. I purchased this f150 since Ford advertised the Eco-Powerboost Hybrid/10-speed transmission was built for heavy duty…

Component Affected: Powertrain / Engine / Transmission Bellhousing Description of Defect: The vehicle is experiencing a severe mechanical defect in the drivetrain assembly, characterized by a loud metallic rattling, scraping, and "tin can" clinking noise originating directly from the transmission bellhousing area immediately upon engine startup. This exact mechanical failure perfectly matches the root cause outlined in Ford Special Service Message SSM 53878. The defect is caused by the torque converter studs physically striking the engine-to-transmission separator plate (spacer plate) near the…

I'm calling to report what I believe may be a safety issue involving the panoramic sunroof on my 2026 Ford F-150 Raptor. I was driving at approximately 9:45 in the morning when the front panoramic sunroof glass suddenly and violently shattered. There was an extremely loud explosion-type sound, and essentially the entire front glass panel disintegrated. I did not see any rock, debris, or other object strike the sunroof before this happened. There was no warning beforehand. The glass broke violently enough that pieces went across the exterior roof and caused additional scratches and damage…

After driving for just over three hours one day, the next day I noticed a slippery liquid on the driver’s-side floorboard mat. I took the truck to the dealership, and they stated they could not see a leak or liquid on the driver's floorboard. The liquid had been wiped off the mat. Approximately 14 days later, after driving just over four hours, the next day I noticed a slippery liquid on the driver’s-side floorboard mat and brake pedal, and I saw where the liquid appeared to be coming from. A piece just above the brake lever has two noticeable cracks and liquid seeping out from it. I took the…

On 9/1/26 I was traveling in the left most lane, southbound on the NJ Parkway around mile marker 82.7 (or wherever that Maintenance Yard is, I believe District 3) and I had the Blue Cruise feature active. There was a curve in the road which the vehicle was following, but while it was following the curve it started to veer into the lane to the right of me and almost collided with another vehicle before I took control of the wheel and got it back into the lane. This in itself was concerning, but I didnt report it. Today, 9/3, I was on the Parkway again and decided to see if I could replicate…

When shifting into reverse to pull out of my garage, with my foot firmly on the middle of the brake pedal, the truck suddenly accelerated, squealing the tires until I pumped the brake to make it stop. It was a very frightening experience. I drove it around town, including stopping and reversing and could not replicate it. It happened on a cold engine and it hadn’t been driven in three days. I’ve seen several other reports on Facebook and online of the same thing happening to other people. This is obvious a dangerous problem that needs to be addressed by Ford!

Received vehicle back from dealer saying prior brake problems had been repaired and confirmed with Ford Engineers. Drove approximately 3 miles before brakes failed again and I was not able to stop at the intersection. Avoided an accident, but had vehicle towed again to be repaired. This is the third complete brake failure in less than 300 miles on the vehicle.
