The "Engine Oil Pressure Low, Stop Safely" warning appeared on the information screen as the car was starting up. The car is available for inspection, but I have not taken it to a Ford dealership or a mechanic for inspection. Google just said that it is a severe "wet timing belt degradation" issue and that I should NOT drive the car. The closest dealer is 21 miles away. I am worried that the engine will fail. This is my only transportation.
Brand new OEM ford clutch slave cylinder failed while in traffic. Part number DG9Z-7A564-B fell apart during test drive after it was newly installed. Lost ability to use the clutch pedal and could not pull the car out of gear while in traffic. Component was not inspected by manufacturer yet, there were no warning lights on the dash when it occurred. Was able to get the car back home and noticed brake fluid pouring out from inside the bell housing of the transmission where the slave cylinder is housed.
I WAS TOLD WAY BACK WHEN THAT DOOR LATCHES HAD A DEFECT. THAT THERE WAS A RECALL. COLONIAL FORD OF DANBURY CT AVOIDED DOING THE COMPLETE RECALLS. SUCH IS SO THAT I PAID OUT OF POCKET A TRANSMISSION REBUILD AND TOOK FORD 2 YEARS TO REEMBURSE ME THE COST. BUT THE DOOR LATCH RECALL WAS STILL IN EFFECT. IT TURNS OUT THAT IM GETTING A DOOR OPEN WARNING ON DASH WHILE DOORS ARE CLOSED. THIS WAS A DEFECT RECALL GOING BACK 5-6 YEARS BUT WAS NEVER REPLACED. NOW DEALER TELLS ME MY CAR WAS'NT PART OF THE RECALL.
Transmission was supposedly rebuilt back July 26, 3021. Now transmission has had a new dual clutch replaced but other concerns are still there jerkiness on accelerations. In 2021 the transmission was not fully rebuild as per recall. Only clutch assembly was done and not the back end. Which now could be the problem. Second, colonial Ford sated transmission rebuilt has lifetime warranty which a lie. Colonial Ford doesn’t offer lifetime. The service advisors lie about this all the time. Now the car jerks on acceleration after clutch replacement. Dealer and Ford still take no responsibility over…

I own a 2014 Ford Fiesta. On June 23, 2025, I brought my car to McCarthy Ford in Chicago due to a check engine light and other concerns. I told them I didn’t know what was wrong and paid for a diagnosis on my car. They fixed the hood and only mentioned the issue with my catalytic converter, which I could not afford to repair at the time. However, they never mentioned or inspected the Transmission Control Module (TCM) even though my car was eligible for extended coverage under Customer Satisfaction Program 14M02, which expired a week later on June 30th, 2025. Shortly after that visit, I…
The door latch on one of the doors has a broken piece inside of it that won't allow the door to close, no dealer has checked it out yet, my safety is a concern because any of the doors could break as well and open while I'm driving
The vehicle has experienced ongoing failures with the DPS6 PowerShift transmission system. Symptoms included slipping between gears, failure to engage 6th gear, jerky shifting, and bucking during acceleration. A transmission warning light appeared multiple times. These issues occurred daily and worsened over time. Eventually, the vehicle became unsafe to drive—it would over-rev, buck violently, and lose power during traffic conditions. A retired Ford Senior Master Technician confirmed the issue is consistent with a faulty Transmission Control Module (TCM), which is covered under Ford’s…
I was involved in a hit and run accident where I ended up hitting a large wooden pole and wall . My seat belt failed also my steering wheel airbag did not deploy even though I hit the pole and wall head on . All my other airbags deployed but it didn't stop my chest from impacting.the steering wheel and my right knee from smashing into the dashboard. The car was inspected by law enforcement and by my insurance company geico. Geico still has the car because it was a total loss.
2014 Ford Fiesta manual sedan exhibiting recurring, dangerous hood latch malfunction (recently noticed) where hood unlatches while driving/parked & experiencing sudden power loss when AC is used (fuse removed to prevent this dangerous condition). Potential safety hazards: obstructed vision, hood detachment, engine tampering, sudden loss of control. Ford Service Advisor admitted hood latch "should" be a recall, yet dealership attempts to charge $350-$500 ($250 diagnostic) for repair instead of initiating recall. This raises concerns Ford prioritizes profit over safety, esp. since Fiesta is…
