FAILURE TO BRAKE AT LOW SPEEDS. BRAKE PEDAL HARD AND INCREASED STOP DISTANCE IN LOW SPEED, OFTEN TIGHT SPOTS.
WHENEVER YOU TURN THE STEERING WHEEL, THERE IS A NOISE THAT COME FROM IT AND IT SOUNDS LIKE A CLUNKING NOISE AS SOMETIMES WILL NOT LET YOU TURN PAST THAT POINT. IT WILL DO IT WHEN IT IS STATIONARY OR DRIVING. IT ALSO SOUNDS LIKE IT IS COMING FROM THE STEERING RACK. *TR
RADIATOR CORROSION AND LEAKING. OTHER VEHICLES OF THE SAME YEAR HAD SAME CORROSION BUT THIS ONE WAS NOT COVERED . PRODUCED IN SAME PLANT AND TIE AND LOCATION. VEHICLE WAS INSPECTED PRIOR TO THIS AND NO NOTIFICATION OF LEAKING REPORTED BY THE DEALER UNTIL WE BROUGHT IT TO THEIR ATTENTION.
AT LOW SPEEDS (PARKING MANEUVERING) BRAKE PEDAL GETS HARD AND BRAKING POWER IS LOST INTERMITTENTLY.
THE TRUCK CAUGHT FIRE IN THE PARKING LOT OF MY WORK
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 GMC SAVANA. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY FOR MORE THAN THREE HOURS, THE AIR CONDITIONER SYSTEM FAILED TO DRAIN OUT AND CAUSED THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE TO FILL UP WITH WATER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, BUT THE FAILURE WAS UNABLE TO BE DUPLICATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
VEHICLE MOVING ON HARD SURFACE. STEERING TURNED TO LIMIT AND ABRUPTLY, WHEEL IS "WHIPPED" BACK AWAY FROM LIMIT. THE ACTION IS SO SEVERE, IT WHIPPED OUT OF MY HANDS AND I TRACKED TO THE OPPOSING LANE. THIS HAPPENED AGAIN IN A PARKING LOT WHEN I WAS LINING UP IN A PARKING SLOT. GM SERVICE BULLETIN: #PIT5405A RECOMMENDS FIXES. GM NEEDS TO BE PROACTIVE ON THIS OR SOMEONE COULD BECOME INJURED OR WORSE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 GMC SAVANA 3500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE TRACTION CONTROL FAILED CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO INDEPENDENTLY BRAKE.
