There is no fault with Jaguar Land Rover's security systems and they continue to meet stringent automotive legislation. Jaguar Land Rover is offering owners guidance on how to maximise vehicle security and protect against theft

Risk: Vehicles failed to routinely achieve the required levels of CO2 emissions.
Fix: Update the vehicle software to the latest version.
UK DVSAFuel may leak
Risk: The brazing of the fuel rail end caps is inconsistent and may not correctly seal the fuel rail ends. Fuel vapour and liquid fuel leaks can occur over time. This can lead to a liquid fuel leak into the engine bay.
Fix: On affected vehicles replace the fuel rail with a correctly manufactured version.
UK DVSAInstrument cluster may intermittently go blank
Risk: Due to a software issue the Instrument cluster may intermittently go blank.
Fix: Affected vehicles will be recalled to have the latest software installed/downloaded.
UK DVSAFuel hose may leak
Risk: The fuel return hose may leak. Increased fuel odour may be noticed and drivers may also observe liquid fuel puddles underneath the vehicle. It is possible that fuel may leak onto the road surface which can present a skid hazard to other road users increasing the risk of a crash. Should leaking fuel come into contact with a sufficiently hot surface in the engine bay there will be an increased risk of fire.
Fix: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the fuel return hose.

I brought my car used with warranty and everything was fine even though I barely drove the car because I had another car that I used to commute so I really didn’t drive the car often. Within a week I noticed a loud sound but I didn’t think anything of it because it was a diesel engine. Within a year I was on the freeway and my car just stopped in mid traffic which a semi diesel truck almost hit me due to engine failure. My car just stopped and my check engine light did not come on until this day. My car is still not running because I took to a repair shop and they said that my timing chain had…
The front drivers side headlamp malfunctioned after condensation entered the lamp via rain and then humidity. The issue first started April 12, 2026. I was leaving to go on a 260 miles drive when I pulled out of the drive way and I started getting a flickering "Dipped Beam Fault". It started flickering on and off as I was picking up speed to merge onto the interstate. I drove all those miles with my left thumb on the Menu OK button to clear it. Then it would come back on again as I was going through two major cities. It was very distracting and I kept glancing down every time it would light…
Recurrent coolant leak. Known issue with Jaguar. Coolant system is known to have many weak spots due to plastic tubing and weak coupling joints. Had a repair costing $1500 dollars in 2022 just out of warranty. Now experiencing yet another coolant leak. Other owners have also had multiple leaks. I think Jaguar should be held accountable for a manufacturer defect.
Recall H009 is exactly what happened to my car I was turning in an intersection when I herd a loud boom and crackling I lost control almost hitting 2 cars and when I finally stopped I look below and my drive shaft had snapped and some of the drive shaft was stuck in the differential. Particulate matter sensor (PMS) circuit fault code P24C6 stored in PCM. Even after PMS replacement/repair, the check engine light came back. In the meantime, Jaguar Land Rover dealership became Land Rover dealership. Now that LR dealership won't fix this.
Oil leaking from turbo charger into exhaust.
While driving in the rain the headlights stopped working. An error popped up on the dashboard indicating a dipped beam fault. When I stopped there was condensation or water inside the headlight lenses on both sides and the lights would not turn back on in the on or auto position. The bright light indicator showed high and low beams but none of the lights would work except for the fog lights. We are having to replace both head light assemblies and bulbs but have not had the repairs completed yet.
Windshield. The Jaguar 2017 F Pace windshield is very fragile. While driving down [XXX] on multiple occasions, a pebble has hit my window and caused a huge crack. On the most recent occurrence the pebble was still in my window shield after returning home. I was traveling around 70 to 75 mph when the pebble hit my windshield. I am now on my 5th window shield since purchasing the vehicle in Dec 2019. When purchased, the vehicle had 31K miles and due to the shut down (2020)and work from home, the vehicles was barely driven. Jaguar Land Rover DFW 972.295.9783 has records of all my service calls…
