Has the 2018 Jaguar F-TYPE been recalled?
3 U.S. safety recalls. Repairs are free at a franchised dealer; some are done over the air.
Air Bags: Frontal Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling one 2018 F-Type vehicle. A portion of the instrument panel may interfere with the front passenger air bag during deployment, possibly tearing the air bag cushion.
Risk: An air bag that tears on deployment can increase the risk of injury during a crash.
Fix: A dealer will replace the instrument panel facia, free of charge. The owner notification letter was mailed August 5, 2021. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H365.
Fuel System, Gasoline: Fuel Injection System: Fuel Rail Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2018 Jaguar XE, XF, E-PACE, F-PACE and F-TYPE vehicles equipped with a 2.0L gasoline engine. The fuel rail end caps may leak, possibly resulting in fuel vapor or liquid fuel leaking into the engine bay.
Risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source such as hot engine or exhaust components can increase the risk of a fire.
Fix: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel rail, free of charge. The recall began on March 8, 2018. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H081.
Exterior Lighting: Turn Signal Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2018 Jaguar F-TYPE vehicles equipped with Highline headlamps. If a front turn signal indicator stops working, the visual and audible turn signal reminders do not flash or chime faster as required. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."
Risk: Without the change to the flash and chime rate, the driver may not know that a turn signal is not working. If the turn signal is not working, other drivers will not be aware that the vehicle is turning, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will update the vehicle's software, free of charge. The recall began on July 12, 2017. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H026.
Is the 2018 Jaguar F-TYPE recalled in the UK or Europe?
Recalls issued by the UK's DVSA and through the EU's Safety Gate system that cover this model and build period. European models can differ from U.S. ones, and "years estimated" means the recall gave no build dates, so confirm your own car with your registration or VIN.

I was almost hit by a car in parking lot and other driver stated that I didn't have my directional on. This has happened on the highway stop lights which accounts for people honking at me when crossing roadway during a turn onto another road. I checked and found the light wasn't working for turn signal. I then contacted dealer to replace what I'm told is the entire headlight unit. Apprently they indicated an issue over the years with known DRL blowing out and the turning signal on headlight doesn't work . I researched and found this was an issue with people over the 2017-2019 years. To make itโฆ

The car sometimes has a hard time to start engine. I have to pump the gas pedal numerous times quickly to finally get the car to start. Other times the car starts normally . Also sometimes when the engine is on and in the park position ; the engine may turn off. The auto off button has been eliminated from the problem because I turn that off; so this issue should not be associated with that component . Perhaps itโs a failing fuel pump or perhaps the valves get stuck flooding the carb making it too lean. I still have not figured out the issue but I am concerned driving the car since sometimes Iโฆ
