My 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, VIN [XXX], has had repeated electrical, battery, power-loss, recall, and passenger-seat safety concerns. The vehicle was serviced for ongoing battery/electrical issues and remained at South Hills Dodge for approximately one month. During that time, I was told no loaner vehicles were available, leaving me without transportation. When the vehicle was returned on XXX, the front passenger seat was no longer operable, although it worked properly before service. I returned the vehicle the same day and was told the part would be ordered. I asked if the vehicle was safe to…
I had to call the fire department because my the auxiliary battery in my Jeep had overheated creating a sulfur-like smell in my garage and eventually into my home. The fire dept recorded the aux battery temp over 200 degrees and the main battery was almost 150 degrees after sitting idle in the garage for over 5 hours and had only drove twice that day for no more than 20 minutes each time. I purchased the vehicle in May of 2023, I believe in Oct of 2023 the dealership had to replace the aux battery, now Aug of 2026 the aux battery failed again overheating and causing the main battery to swell…

While starting to turn through an intersection after a red light the vehicle stalled in the center of said intersection. After turning the vehicle fully off and restarting the dash lights for a steering malfunction illuminated. The vehicle was difficult to steer but was drivable. After several on of cycles the steering was easier. We made an appointment and took it to the dealer. The dealer found the steering rack to have an "internal" fault and was unsafe to drive. The vehicle died in the center of a busy intersection. We could have been hit because the turn lest arrow ended and oncoming cars…
I was at a stoplight, waiting to making a U-turn. The light turned green release the brake and went to hit the gas. The entire vehicle shut off. I lost all power and had to restart the vehicle in the middle of the intersection with vehicles behind me. It took at least 30 seconds and I ended up having to wait a cycle on the light because I couldn’t go at the time. Once I got the car back on, I lost power steering and my check engine light came on. I was able to make it to parking lot. Once I got there, I parked in the parking space the vehicle did the automatic shut off to conserve energy once…
The front seat has air bags in it for massage and adjustment features. These airbags expand and cant be adjusted down pushing you into the sterering making it unsafe to drive. The vehicle is very difficult to drive with the seat in this condition. We are still wiating for this part however we must to continue to drive this unsafe vehicle that had a price tag of $112k. While driving the breaks faultered and I had to slam on the break. I had to press all the way down on the break pedal to slow down or stop. Also when stopped at a light the car turns off and puts itself in park. I had to turn the car off and back on again to fix it. My safety and the safety of others was at risk due to chance of a significant car crash due to faulty break system. I had a near miss accident due to this reason. I will be calling the car dealership to tow the car to have it inspected. The ABS light came on as well as check engine light. Service power steering light also came on.
