Vehicle will suddenly shut off in traffic. Will NOT start back up for 1-2 minutes. Control panel near gear selector will flash on and off message reading Hold brake and start button. Screen all black. This has happened 3 times this month. Car shut off in car wash, once started it would not shift from Park into Neutral or Drive for 60 seconds. When accelerating on expressway, vehicle will shake then message flashes on dashboard "Put in proper gas and oil". Happens weekly. Dealership of course cannot find any issues or replicate codes....very convenient. Bought new-2023 Jeep Wagoneer Series 2…
The thermostat suddenly failed, causing extensive engine failure. The engine failure was the direct and unavoidable consequence of a known manufacturer defect explicitly covered under Customer Satisfaction Notification 26B and TSB 09-006-25 / RSU 25-047 which should have replaced my thermostat or been a recall.
About a week ago, I received a warning that my lane management assist required servicing. As of Tuesday (10/06), as I slowed to a. Stop sign, my car started beeping, put itself in park and turned off. It flashed a message that stated a restart was required. Then today, I was getting the same lane management warning and as I was stopped, my car did the same thing, threw me into park, put a bunch of different warning messages then said power steering requires service. I proceeded to drive home since I was about ten minutes away, shut my vehicle off for a few minutes and tried to restart it, the…
I recently had an oil change at the dealership I purchased the Wagoneer from. Three days after the oil change was completed, I was sitting at a stop light when the vehicle completely shut down, and the power steering went out. I started the vehicle back up and a power steering service notice popped up. That same day, the large central display screen kept flashing on and off, when it finally shut completely off. Six days later, I was driving home from work when I noticed the engine kept running up into the 6-7000 RPM's if I tried to drive over 40mph. I drove under 40mph the rest of the way home…
Instrument panel dash frozen. instrument dash panel frozen at the screen where it says start/stop press brake to turn the vehicle on, we can’t see how fast we’re going when driving. This has occurred on multiple occasions. We’ve taken it to a Jeep dealership. Who reset the PCM but it does not resolve the issue.
When driving my vehicle suddenly shuts off the engine and puts the vehicle into park. This has happened multiple times now and everything shuts down, power steering, etc goes out and I’m afraid it will cause a serious accident. This seems very dangerous. Dealership tells me they don’t have any idea how to fix it
While driving my vehicle suddenly shuts off the engine and puts the vehicle into park. This has happened multiple times now and once on I-66 while merging onto I-495. This seems very dangerous.
Vehicle began to randomly shut off at low speed while moving, while stopped and also in park. Has not yet happened at high speeds. All occasions are at speeds of less than 5 mph, no MIL. Took to the dealership, diag of faulted aux battery. Battery replaced. Still very randomly will die in gear, at low to no speed, and also in park on occasion. Dealership update software of the BCM, PCM, and DCM. Returned to us with the same ongoing dying issue, returned to dealership, they did a wheel alignment, obviously didn't fix the dying issue. This vehicle carries my family, this will cause an accident…
I purchased my 2023 Jeep Wagoneer new in March 2023. The vehicle has experienced multiple electrical/electronic safety-related failures. Beginning around Oct. 2024, the digital instrument cluster intermittently failed to load after startup, leaving me without critical information including vehicle speed and fuel level. I photographed this occurring numerous times and repeatedly reported it to the dealer. The cluster was eventually replaced in April 2026. The vehicle has also unexpectedly shut off more than once while slowing or coming to a stop at a stop sign or traffic light. In July 2026…
On multiple occasions, when starting the vehicle, the screen on the dashboard remains with the power button and instructions to depress the brake and push button to start. The car starts, but no gauges appear on the dashboard. Turning the car off and back on does not resolve the issue. The car is on and running and will let me shift into gear and drive the car, as demonstrated in multiple videos. Driving the car while a message on how to start the car is concerning as I cannot see/view the speedometer or any other gauges. Additionally, the indicator that the driver’s door is open is on when…
Pulling from a stop sign across two lanes of traffic into a median, the car shut off and then started back. When it started back there were multiple warning lights. Pulled out onto highway and when coming to the next turn, there were no power brakes. Had to use extreme pressure to slow the vehicle down to a stop. Turned the car off and then back on and most lights went off.
2023 L series II Wagoneer 84,444 miles full bench 2nd and 3rd row - My family was travelling in the car and the second row driver side seat unlatched and forcefully slammed my daughter into the back of the driver seat. No aggressive driving and no warning lights on the dash. The car dinged then slammed my daughter's face into the back of the driver seat. Caused swelling and a black eye on the left side. Also caused a spinal injury on the C2 and C3 joint that we are still getting information on the issue. I am submitting this in hopes that this does not happen to someone else's family like it…
