Vehicle will suddenly shut off in traffic. Will NOT start back up for 1-2 minutes. Control panel near gear selector will flash on and off message reading Hold brake and start button. Screen all black. This has happened 3 times this month. Car shut off in car wash, once started it would not shift from Park into Neutral or Drive for 60 seconds. When accelerating on expressway, vehicle will shake then message flashes on dashboard "Put in proper gas and oil". Happens weekly. Dealership of course cannot find any issues or replicate codes....very convenient. Bought new-2023 Jeep Wagoneer Series 2…
The thermostat suddenly failed, causing extensive engine failure. The engine failure was the direct and unavoidable consequence of a known manufacturer defect explicitly covered under Customer Satisfaction Notification 26B and TSB 09-006-25 / RSU 25-047 which should have replaced my thermostat or been a recall.
About a week ago, I received a warning that my lane management assist required servicing. As of Tuesday (10/06), as I slowed to a. Stop sign, my car started beeping, put itself in park and turned off. It flashed a message that stated a restart was required. Then today, I was getting the same lane management warning and as I was stopped, my car did the same thing, threw me into park, put a bunch of different warning messages then said power steering requires service. I proceeded to drive home since I was about ten minutes away, shut my vehicle off for a few minutes and tried to restart it, the…
I recently had an oil change at the dealership I purchased the Wagoneer from. Three days after the oil change was completed, I was sitting at a stop light when the vehicle completely shut down, and the power steering went out. I started the vehicle back up and a power steering service notice popped up. That same day, the large central display screen kept flashing on and off, when it finally shut completely off. Six days later, I was driving home from work when I noticed the engine kept running up into the 6-7000 RPM's if I tried to drive over 40mph. I drove under 40mph the rest of the way home…
Instrument panel dash frozen. instrument dash panel frozen at the screen where it says start/stop press brake to turn the vehicle on, we can’t see how fast we’re going when driving. This has occurred on multiple occasions. We’ve taken it to a Jeep dealership. Who reset the PCM but it does not resolve the issue.
When driving my vehicle suddenly shuts off the engine and puts the vehicle into park. This has happened multiple times now and everything shuts down, power steering, etc goes out and I’m afraid it will cause a serious accident. This seems very dangerous. Dealership tells me they don’t have any idea how to fix it
Vehicle began to randomly shut off at low speed while moving, while stopped and also in park. Has not yet happened at high speeds. All occasions are at speeds of less than 5 mph, no MIL. Took to the dealership, diag of faulted aux battery. Battery replaced. Still very randomly will die in gear, at low to no speed, and also in park on occasion. Dealership update software of the BCM, PCM, and DCM. Returned to us with the same ongoing dying issue, returned to dealership, they did a wheel alignment, obviously didn't fix the dying issue. This vehicle carries my family, this will cause an accident…
I purchased my 2023 Jeep Wagoneer new in March 2023. The vehicle has experienced multiple electrical/electronic safety-related failures. Beginning around Oct. 2024, the digital instrument cluster intermittently failed to load after startup, leaving me without critical information including vehicle speed and fuel level. I photographed this occurring numerous times and repeatedly reported it to the dealer. The cluster was eventually replaced in April 2026. The vehicle has also unexpectedly shut off more than once while slowing or coming to a stop at a stop sign or traffic light. In July 2026…
Pulling from a stop sign across two lanes of traffic into a median, the car shut off and then started back. When it started back there were multiple warning lights. Pulled out onto highway and when coming to the next turn, there were no power brakes. Had to use extreme pressure to slow the vehicle down to a stop. Turned the car off and then back on and most lights went off.
Several times, the car put itself into park while driving. Two times, the brakes failed while driving. The brake was pushed all the way to the ground, but the car would not stop.
The vehicle was bought June 2023, starting September 2023 we have had continual electrical problems. The blind spot warning system constantly activates and takes over. The automatic braking system randomly activates for no reason. The car will go into full braking and stop. This will happen at all speeds to include highway speeds. Now I am getting check engine lights and the code changes every time the light activates. When we take it to the dealership for service all we get is "we can't replicate the issue" and nothing is fixed. I ran a Car Fax and found that instead of coding the problem…
Truck has multiple electrical issues like the auto emergency braking, braking on its own had to turn feature off and now the power steering system, the steering wheel got stiff and truck turn off multiple times. Power steering light comes on then goes away after sitting off for a while
