I am writing to formally submit a dangerous and sudden electrical system failure on my 2024 Jeep Wagoneer. I purchased this vehicle brand new from Lee Jeep in Wilson, NC and it currently has only 38,000 miles—just 2,000 miles past the standard factory bumper-to-bumper warranty. This issue represents a severe safety hazard and appears to be a direct, consequential chain reaction resulting from a dealer-performed service and software flash completed just 1,000 miles ago. Chronology of Events: 37,000 Miles: The vehicle's thermostat failed. Lee Jeep replaced the thermostat and performed a required…

Also have a few times of the car is in a parking spot and then go to reverse stop limit brakes and it won’t let you go when you put it into drive. It does the same thing and it’s stuck until you turn the car off and back on.. The most scary thing is twice it’s been in the middle of the intersection that it’s died today. It happened for the fourth time three times in a row. I have taken my car into Jeep and has been there for over 69 days in total for many…
I own a 2024 Jeep Wagoneer Series III equipped with the Hurricane Inline-6 engine. The vehicle has experienced multiple intermittent operating events in which the vehicle displayed a message directing the driver to place the vehicle in PARK and restart the vehicle. The events have occurred under multiple driving conditions, including: While driving in a parking lot. While operating in slow-moving highway traffic. While exiting a freeway at higher speed. At least two events involved what appeared to be automatic engagement of the electronic parking brake while the vehicle was moving. Following…
I have taken my vehicle in several times to get it checked out regarding an issue i have been having since the beginning of the year. I have a severe, recurring engine-stalling safety defect. The vehicle has been in the shop in Boerne texas several times. The engine completly dies, requiring a full manual key/button cycle to restart in/out of traffic. It cuts the power steering and forces the vehicle into park, these are safety issues since at times i sit in traffic for two hours or when i have my newborn grandson traveling with me when i have to travel out of city.
The engine cooling system failed while my husband and I were driving on the freeway at night: the thermostat stuck closed and cut off coolant flow to the engine, causing it to overheat and become unsafe to continue driving. This occurred at approximately 10:00 PM on XXX roughly two hours from home over a holiday weekend, with two occupants in the vehicle. The vehicle had to be towed, but it took nearly four hours to get a tow truck, leaving us stranded on the freeway at night; because we were stranded so far from home, my [XXX] father had to drive two hours to reach us at 10:00 PM and then…
Vehicle shut down 4 times in traffic almost causing an accident each time loss of power and steering. This all occurred in 1 day.

Throwing itself in park going down the highway and about had us in a head on collision. Motor has loss of lower and overheating. Multiple misfires on multiple cylinders on all 3 occasions when returned to the dealership. Unable to fix on multiple attempts. Car is still in dealership garage awaiting to be repaired.

Immediately after taking delivery of this brand-new 2024 Jeep Wagoneer L, a severe and violent mechanical vibration was detected while driving at highway speeds. When the vehicle reaches 70 mph and above, the steering wheel shakes aggressively in the driver's hands, and the entire vehicle chassis vibrates violently. This severe shaking impacts vehicle tracking, makes it difficult to maintain steady steering control at cruising speeds, and creates an immediate road safety hazard for the occupants and surrounding traffic. The vehicle is currently unsafe to operate at normal highway speeds.
While in drive the entire car turned off and systems shut off. I was in a busy street and it Turned back on and all flashing alert lights were on.
My 2024 Jeep Wagoneer L with the 3.0L Hurricane engine began experiencing drivability and warning-light failures at very low mileage and within the first year of ownership. The vehicle was purchased new in October 2024 and experienced its first major drivability/towing event at approximately 10,372 miles. Counts are a starting point, not a verdict: popular models collect more complaints because more of them are on the road, and NHTSA does not verify individual reports. To see whether a recall is still open on your car, enter your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls (U.S.) or your registration at check-vehicle-recalls.service.gov.uk (UK). Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA; complaints are what trigger investigations and recalls.
