UK DVSAAJ20-D6 Idler Pulley ClashD6 Idler Pulley Clash Recall R/2026/241 · Jun 26, 2026 · built Jan 2024 to Apr 2026 · Risk and fix

Risk: A concern has been identified on certain AJ20-D6 engines where the Front End Auxiliary Drive (FEAD) belt idler pulley may over-rotate following a high torsion input and lead to a clash with and damage to the oil pressure and temperature sensor. A damaged oil pressure and temperature sensor can lead to an oil leak from the engine which can result in a slip hazard for following road users particularly two-wheeled vehicles.

Fix: Vehicles will have the Front-End Auxiliary Drive (FEAD) idler pulley replaced.

UK DVSADriver’s Airbag Potential Non-Deployment Recall R/2026/245 · Jun 19, 2026 · built Apr 2019 to Jun 2026 · Risk and fix

Risk: A concern has been identified where the connector to the driver’s airbag at the clockspring may experience fretting corrosion over time. This can lead to an increased resistance in the driver’s airbag circuit potentially resulting in the airbag failing to deploy when requested to do so. An airbag which fails to deploy as-intended will increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

Fix: Vehicles will have a protective lubricant gel applied to the driver’s airbag connector terminals.

He then stated I would need to tow my car at my own expense. Upon inspection at the Boise dealership they are now telling me my battery is dead and they will cover the recall part but not the battery…

Car has had 2 separate, distinct failures of the DC/DC converter which result in electrical faults rendering all systems unusable (gearbox, steering, etc.) and making the care immobile. I have had it replaced once in September 2025 following a failure, and then the replacement failed in January 2026. This is incredibly dangerous while driving. Dealer and Land Rover are aware of widespread failures, parts are backordered with no timeline. Warning light starts with 'Electric Fault Detected' and continues to function for an indeterminate amount of time before failing completely.
