Is the 2025 Land Rover Discovery Sport recalled in the UK or Europe?

UK DVSAE-PACE F-PACE Defender Discovery Sport Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Velar PHEV Traction Battery Fire Risk
Risk: Vehicles have experienced thermal overload which may manifest in smoke or fire that may occur underneath the rear of the vehicle where the high voltage traction battery is located. The root cause is not yet known and investigations are continuing. A vehicle thermal overload condition such as fire or smoke can result in increased risk of occupant injury and/or injury to persons outside the vehicle as well as property damage.
Fix: Vehicles will be inspected by the retailer and as required at-risk battery packs will be replaced.
UK DVSAGear Shift Module Moisture Ingress
Risk: On Affected vehicles it is possible that moisture has entered the Gear Shift Module (GSM) during the assembly process. Under certain conditions there is a risk that this moisture could result in non-illumination of the Light Emitting Diode (LED) indicating the selected gear. Non-illumination of the LED gear indicator adjacent to the shifter would not conform to regulated requirements for automatic transmission control position indicator illumination.
Fix: Affected vehicles will have the Gear Shift Module replaced.
UK DVSAElectric Power Inverter Converter B (EPICB) Software Update
Risk: On affected vehicles due to a software issue in the Electric Power Inverter Converter B (EPICB) it is possible that as the high voltage battery depletes during driving in EV mode the engine may not restart when the state of charge reduces and the vehicle will therefore lose power. There will not be an associated warning to the driver.
Fix: Vehicle’s software to be updated in the Electric Power Inverter Converter B (EPICB) and other modules as required to ensure complete cross-module integration. In parallel an over-the-air update will be rolled out and customers who successfully complete this update will not need to visit a retailer.
UK DVSAAJ21-D4 Turbo Oil Feed Pipe LeakD4 Turbo Oil Feed Pipe Leak
Risk: Affected vehicles have a Turbocharger oil feed pipe that may over time loosen and lead to an oil leak
Fix: Replace the Turbocharger oil feed pipe O-rings and install an additional clamp.
EU Safety GateThe vehicle’s engine may fail to restart after driving in electric vehicle (EV) mode due to a software problem in the inverter control…The vehicle’s engine may fail to restart after driving in electric vehicle (EV) mode due to a software problem in the inverter control module when the high-voltage (HV) battery charge decreases. What do 2025 Land Rover Discovery Sport owners report?
6 of the 6 complaints, the most recent for the most-reported components, as the owners wrote them. NHTSA removes names and VINs; long reports are trimmed. CarHooq has not verified individual claims.
This is the third time this has happened. My 2019 Range Rover Evoque power steering malfunctions and the steering wheel physically will not turn the front wheels. I can only drive forward or reverse. Each time I take it to the Land Rover dealership, and they are unsure how to resolve my issue. Here is a list of warnings that appear on my dashboard: - Power steering assistance reduced - Parking brake fault - 2 wheel drive only traction reduced - Stability control not available. Drive with care. - HDC not available system fault - ATPC not available I have less than 70,000 miles on my vehicle.
Is this a flaw? I was driving with my wife, she had the key. I dropped her off and drove away about a mile. The car didn't say anything about the key not being present in the vehicle. Shouldn't it have said something about the key not being present? Seems like this is a computer/software flaw which should be investigated and updated.
Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and Lane Keep Assist systems turn off for no apparent reasons. This happened multiple times on this loaner vehicle and my own vehicle (same model). All the times I've seen this happen it was at night and clear out. So its not like radars or cameras are blocked by rain, snow, etc...This needs to be investigated since its happening on all of these models and radar/cameras are clear. Only common theme so far is that its happening when its dark out.
On several occasions the amber AEB Off warning light has appeared. It wasn't raining and radars + camera were clear. The warning light went away on its own within 30 seconds without restarting the car. This should be investigated as a safety system issue especially since it's occuring even though the sensors are clean and unobstructed.
Windshield washer fluid is leaking from the reservoir/pump near the front driver side tire when the rear window wash is activated. The bottle already became empty once. There shouldn't be any leaking to begin with but this is also a safety issue if you actually have to use the windshield wash while on the road and there is no fluid in the bottle because it leaked out.
I am new to Land Rover Discovery Sport and a bit disappointed with the Blind Spot Warning functionality. There is very little warning compared to all other cars I have owned with this feature. There needs to be an option for audible warning when blind spot monitoring detects something and the turn signal is activated. Currently there is no audible warning. Also the system seems a bit slow. Feels like it should detect a blind spot object sooner. Finally, there needs to be blind spot warning indicators on the HUD. All of these are safety issue and improvement opportunities.

To see whether a recall is still open on your car, enter your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls (U.S.) or your registration at check-vehicle-recalls.service.gov.uk (UK). Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA; complaints are what trigger investigations and recalls.
