A component within the Occupant Classification System (OCS) Electronic Control Unit (ECU) may fail, resulting in the front seat passenger air bag being totally or partially disabled.

I PURCHASED THE CAR JULY 11TH 2020, THE CONPANY STATED IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE, ONCE I DROVE IT OFF THE LOT & TOOK IT TO LAND ROVER THEY ADVISED ME THAT THE CAR IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE AT ALL, AND THE ENTIRE CHASSIE IS BASICALLY DESTROYED, THEIR ARE NO WHEEL BARRINGS, AND I NEED FRONT AND REAR DIFFERENTIALS. ALSO METAL SCRAPINGS FROM THE REAR BARRINGS WAS GETTING INTO THE OIL PAN. THE DEALER I PURCHASED THE CAR FROM IS REFUSING TO FIX IT EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE A 30 DAY WARRANTY.
REAR DIFFERENTIAL AND REAR WHEEL BEARING FAILURE. SEVERE GRINDING NOISE FROM REAR END
FOR ABOUT A MONTH A WARNING LIGHT WAS ON WHENEVER I DROVE, INDICATING THAT THE PASSENGER AIR BAG WAS CONSTANTLY SWITCHED OFF. AFTER TAKING MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP, THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS A SENSOR ISSUE AND SUGGESTED THAT I PAY $2,000 TO REPLACE THE SENSOR BENEATH THE PASSENGER SEAT (A REPAIR THAT WOULD NOT HAVE RESOLVED THE UNDERLYING ISSUE ACCORDING TO THE MECHANICS WHO LATER EXAMINED MY VEHICLE). AFTER READING ABOUT THE LR2 RECALL RELATED TO THE AIRBAG LIGHT, I ASKED IF MY…
