I am currently leasing a 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 250+. The vehicle displayed a warning related to the high-voltage battery system, indicating a potential malfunction and safety risk. I was advised that there may be an issue involving the high-voltage battery that could lead to battery failure and/or an increased risk of fire. Due to this warning, I no longer feel the vehicle is safe to operate or park near my home or other structures. The warning first appeared on the vehicle's dashboard while the vehicle was in normal use. The condition creates a significant safety concern because a…
I was driving very slowly down a residential side street and started to pull over to the right side to park behind a car. This parking spot was on a slight incline and the curb was made up of two slanted cobblestones. After I moved in to position within about 2 ft from the car in front of me, my car quickly accelerated and slammed in to it. While I did not notice it at the time, after noticing the nature of the damage to both cars, it appeared as though the car may have tried to swerve from the curb. I believe the front sensors detected there was something in the way and the car swerved left…
The lane-keeping assist function (In-Lane control, part of the driver-assistance suite) does not turn off when commanded. The driver selects the control to disengage, and the system remains active and continues to apply steering input. This is a recurring condition and it is getting more frequent. A driver-assistance steering function that cannot be switched off removes driver authority over the steering at the moment the driver is trying to take control, which is a safety risk in normal driving and especially during evasive maneuvers, lane changes, and construction or debris avoidance. The…
Learning that my vehicle is subject to a battery-related recall has seriously undermined my trust. Battery defects in electric vehicles can present risks that include thermal events, loss of vehicle functionality, and other potentially dangerous situations. My vehicle has had warning signs, I received emails about the risks my vehicle can present directly from Mercedes. I have had my vehicle in the service department two times in two months for this same issue. My vehicle is overheating while charging.
I am submitting this complaint regarding a serious safety issue involving my vehicle. For an extended period of time, this vehicle has experienced recurring starting failures. On multiple occasions, the vehicle would not start, requiring service visits to the dealership. Despite repeated repair attempts, the dealership was unable to identify the root cause of the problem and typically performed only software updates. I was repeatedly informed that no specific defect could be found.Recently, the issue escalated into a much more dangerous event. While driving, the engine suddenly shut down…
My auto assist emergency braking function has triggered 3 times over the last few months with no other cars or hazzards near me. There was not warning. Each time it caused sudden unexpected severe jerking. More importantly, had there been a car behind me, it would have run into me and caused an collision. I reported this to the dealer who was unable to replicate the problem so it returned my car without a solution. I have notified MBUSA.
On a recent drive, my 2024 Mercedes-Benz E350 VIN: [XXX] suffered a catastrophic safety hazard involving a complete loss of drive power and sudden engine shutdown while operating at highway speeds. I had to navigate across active highway lanes with no engine propulsion to reach safety. Simultaneously, the vehicle experienced a widespread failure of its master interior electrical grid. The driver's power seat became permanently frozen in a fully reclined position while driving, creating an immediate driver-ergonomic safety hazard. Multiple interior USB charging ports and the passenger-side…
My vehicle is a 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 300. Despite the nationwide recall (NHTSA 26V073000) for high-voltage battery fire risk, the manufacturer is providing conflicting and dangerous safety information. I was verbally instructed by dealership representatives to park my vehicle outdoors and limit charging to 80% to avoid a fire hazard. However, when I requested written confirmation of these safety restrictions from MBUSA Corporate Retention (Case Manager: [XXX] ), my request was ignored The manufacturer refuses to put in writing that my vehicle is safe to park in my attached garage or charge…
On [XXX] at [XXX], while I was slowly moving my car into a parking spot, the vehicle suddenly stopped for a brief moment and then, within a second, unexpectedly accelerated forward without any input from me. The car jumped onto the pathway and collided with the glass door of the property located at [XXX] ". I attempted to control the car using the brakes immediately, but the vehicle was not responding and remained out of control. There were no alert sounds or warnings before or during the incident. The vehicle finally stopped only after hitting the glass door. I strongly believe this was…
Main instrument cluster and infotainment system locked up during driving after dark, the screens froze and then went black. All exterior lights went out during driving. No speedometer or other warning lights are working. It is a serious safety issue! Turning the car off, waiting 10 minutes, and starting it again did not fix the issue no matter what i did trying to recover the system. The screens either turn on and stay frozen or they stay dark. The engine starts but all instruments are not working, and all UI controls are unresponsive. It appears that very many other drivers reporting similar…
The master central screen as well as the passenger screen that contains all features for radio, navigation, control of reading road signs, climate control and the like go BLACK randomly during the four weeks I have owned the 2024 E Class Mercedes. It will reboot after 2-5 minutes with no lost data. Dealer in Cherry Hill, NJ did major software update not completed at time of purchase. But incident happened after two weeks. Others with this make, year and model have same situations with dealerships not knowing anything. Supposedly, Mercedes knows but a solution may be three months or more. This…
During normal driving, Pirelli tires have bubbles, resulting in air leakage. Tires will eventually run flat. Pirelli tires installed on new vehicle cannot support the weight of the vehicle.

To see whether a recall is still open on your car, enter your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls (U.S.) or your registration at check-vehicle-recalls.service.gov.uk (UK). Had a safety problem? Report it to NHTSA; complaints are what trigger investigations and recalls.
