Is the 2024 Porsche Taycan recalled in the UK or Europe?
Recalls issued by the UK's DVSA and through the EU's Safety Gate system that cover this model and build period. European models can differ from U.S. ones, and "years estimated" means the recall gave no build dates, so confirm your own car with your registration or VIN.
UK DVSAASB1 Recall campaign - Check wiring harness of the front seats and rework if necessary
Risk: For affected vehicles there is a possibility that the wiring harness for the front seats has not been installed in accordance with specifications and the harness may be damaged by seat adjustment over the lifetime of the vehicle.
Fix: To prevent this the installation of the affected wiring harness is to be checked and if necessary reworked.
UK DVSACheck the air suspension strut on the front axle and rework if necessary
Risk: There is a possibility that a locking ring on the air-spring strut at the front left and right was not fitted according to specifications on the affected vehicles. If this is the case the locking ring on the upper side of the respective spring strut can loosen and air can thus escape from the air spring. As a result the driving characteristics may be impaired which increases the risk of an accident.
Fix: The locking ring on the air-spring strut at the front left and right must be checked and reworked depending on the test result
UK DVSAARB6 recall campaign – Checking HVB cell modules and re-programming BMCe software
Risk: A short circuit within the battery modules during the vehicle’s service life cannot be ruled out under certain circumstances which could lead to thermal events and later to a fire in the vehicle.
Fix: On the affected vehicles the battery modules must be replaced and the on-board diagnostic software (BMCe control unit) will be installed.
UK DVSAChecking position of rear three-point seat belt and reworking if necessaryARB3 – Checking position of rear three-point seat belt and reworking if necessary
Risk: On affected vehicles it is possible that the three-point belts of the rear seat belt system were not fitted according to the specifications. If this is the case the restraint function for passengers in the rear left and right seats is not guaranteed in the event of full braking or an accident.
Fix: Check routing of the belt straps of the rear three-point belts and correct routing depending on the check result.
UK DVSAReplacing brake hose on the left and right front axle
Risk: On affected vehicles brake hoses were installed on the left and right of the front axle that were designed with too small a bending radius. Over time and under certain conditions this can lead to material fatigue and a defect in the brake hose.
Fix: Replace the front axle brake hoses.
UK DVSAChecking high-voltage battery and replacing cell block module if necessary
Risk: On affected vehicles production issues may have occurred at the battery cell/battery module supplier. If this is the case a short circuit within the battery modules leading to possible thermal events and fires cannot be ruled out.
Fix: Replace affected battery modules in the high-volt battery.
UK DVSAARA4 Recall Campaign - Replacing cell block module on high-voltage battery.
Risk: On affected vehicles production issues may have occurred at the battery cell/battery module supplier. If this is the case a short circuit within the battery modules leading to possible thermal events and fires cannot be ruled out.
Fix: Replace affected battery modules in the high-volt battery.
UK DVSAOn affected vehicles due to insufficient sealing under certain circumstances liquid can enter the interior of the high-voltage battery.
Risk: On affected vehicles due to insufficient sealing under certain circumstances liquid can enter the interior of the high-voltage battery.
Fix: Check the battery for leaks and replace if necessary.

While driving my 2023 Porsche Taycan under normal conditions, the plastic underbody protection panel on the bottom of the vehicle came loose and detached. The metal underneath the plastic panel is now visibly bent. I did NOT hit any object. There was NO impact. I did NOT hear or feel anything during driving. There were no warning lights, alarms, or messages on the dashboard. The first indication of any problem was discovering the detached plastic and bent metal after the fact. This is a serious safety concern because the underbody panel on the Taycan protects the high-voltage battery, battery…
The in-cabin heater stopped working, and the temperature is in the single digits outside (currently 7 degrees), so I was not able to use the defroster to clear my windshield and it was dangerously cold inside the vehicle.
heater and defroster failed, no parts available, PCNA and local dealer cannot fix at this time defroster failure makes vehicle potentially undriveable in bad winter weather
I called Porsche USA and they are refusing to help to fix the recall. I got a brand new Porsche Taycan never got the charging cable from the dealership. Recall can not be fixed w out the charging cable. Manufacturer Voluntary Service Action issued Program #WPU1 SUBMIT CHARGING CABLE WITH NEMA POWER PLUG AND UPDATE THE PORSCHE MOBILE CHARGER SOFTWARE
Numerous electrical issues plaguing the vehicle. These issues pose a significant risk to both myself, my family and other road users. Specifically, the car intermittently fails to recognize the key, both when starting and during operation. Most alarmingly, the vehicle has demonstrated a dangerous behavior wherein it fails to detect my grip on the steering wheel, resulting in the sudden application of brakes and seizure of steering control. This will only happen when going 45mph or faster and will occur randomly regardless of where my hands are on the steering wheel or whether I'm turning or…
My car indicated that there was a collision imminent when there was nothing in front of me and no car within any reasonable distance ahead of me either. The car tried to apply the brakes momentarily and then stopped. This happened on the I280 Northbound Lawrence Expressway exit headed towards the stop light at the Stevens Creek Blvd junction. The ground was slightly damp, but there were no apparent objects in the road.
Car lost power and two messages appeared “ Electrical system error Park vehicle in a safe place” “ Engine control error Park vehicle in a safe place”
This car completely shut down on a busy motorway and would not restart while blocking traffic. I called Porsche Auto service for a tow on a flatbed truck. They did not arrive for almost 5 hours while the car was dead standing still on a busy major intersection. Porsche has had this car in repair and have still not updated what caused the problem or scarier yet IF it will happen again. This car has less than 1400 miles and is only. 3 months old.
