I purchased the above vehicle new on October 31, 2025. It has had a defect in its infotainment and center display system from the moment of delivery. The system failed while the dealer’s technician was demonstrating it to me on delivery day, and the vehicle went back into the shop before I could take it home. The defect has never been corrected. The system reboots itself regularly. Audio fails completely, including turn signal sounds. Settings change on their own when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. I raised these failures in person with both the service and sales departments at my first…

I am reporting a potential safety defect involving the driver-assistance, lane-assist/steering intervention, and automatic braking systems in my 2026 Volvo XC60. I purchased the vehicle new on May 20, 2026, and it currently has approximately 10,000 miles. I have experienced repeated unexpected steering intervention while driving. On multiple occasions, the vehicle’s lane-assistance system has pulled or attempted to steer the vehicle toward oncoming traffic, requiring me to actively correct the steering. At other times, the steering intervention creates a sensation similar to hydroplaning…

The vehicle suffered an incident of Sudden Unintended Acceleration while slowly turning right, into a level parking space. Drivers foot was on the brake, but the car suddenly accelerated and surged forward. The car did not stop, even with strong brake pressure, until it hit the curb and almost hit a pedestrian. We called SOS to have Volvo pick up car to be towed to the dealership. I consider this to be a severe liability and unsafe to drive. The XC 60 accident happened on the second day and was towed to dealership the third day. Research documents similar problem happening to other drivers of…

The 2026 Volvo XC60 Ultra comes with hazy rear passenger windows, worse in full sun. These windows are laminated and tinted and are manufactured by Saint-Gobain Sekurit. The hazy rear passenger windows, especially the right one, decrease the driver's visibility and safety when checking the blind spots in traffic. Volvo should issue a recall of these defective windows and provide replacement transparent laminated glass for the rear passenger windows, allowing an unobstructed view for the driver. After contacting Volvo, they offered to replace these windows with tinted tempered glass, which is a…

The car had no warning signs showing. We were on the highway and this was the longest trip we’ve taken in this car. We were at about 100 miles into the trip, we were at mile 115 on I-95 in [XXX] coming from [XXX] . Suddenly the rubber around the tire ripped off completely, the car started to slow in the middle of the highway. We pulled over to the right side of the road and found the tire completely blown out. The vehicle is currently being inspected by Volvo. The Volvo dealership is currently replacing the tire and we are paying full price out of pocket. We will be in touch with continental…

Brand new 2026 Volvo XC60 Plus with factory tinting of rear passenger, side & hatch windows. Vehicle purchased from Serra Volvo in Traverse City Michigan. Visibility/WiperNHTSA complaint 11735476 · May 4, 2026
I have requested an appointment with my local Volvo dealership to investigate this problem with delamination of the windshield and All side/rear windows. The glass has developed a pervasive milky, cloudy, and fractured appearance. When driving in the direct sunlight or at night with oncoming headlights, the vision for the driver is distorted and causes a significant safety hazard. The vehicle is currently in pristine condition with fewer than 2000 miles when the problem was first identified. I have reported the problem to my local dealership along with Photos illustrating the problem and…

I purchased a new Volvo XC60 Ultra on 4/17/2026. During the drive home from the dealership, I noticed the right rear passenger window haziness impairing my visibility when checking for blind spots. Initially, I thought the window needs to be cleaned, however all cleaning attempts did not improve the glass transparency; the haziness persisted. I notified the Volvo dealership the next day and I was asked to bring the car back for detailing. When I arrived, the sales manager brought 2 similar cars for comparison and concluded that this is how all the cars look like and it's just my problem, as he…
