TAKATA RECALL: I'M HAVING THE SAME ISSUE THAT'S ATTACHED TO GM RECALL 13036. I JUST TOOK IT TO THE CHEVY DEALER AND THIS RECALL WASN'T ATTACHED TO MY VIN, EVEN THOUGH MY CAR WAS MANUFACTURED IN THE SAME YEAR LISTED IN THE 13036 RECALL. MY VEHICLE IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE ! THE ESC LIGHT FLASHED 'OFF' THEN IT SAYS SERVICE ESC . THE CHECK ENGINES ILLUMINATES AND FLASHES AS WELL AS THE SERVICE TRACTION . I'VE REPLACED SPARK PLUGS , INJECTORS AND WIRING ATTACHED TO THE CYLINDERS, TO FIX THE CODES BEING SHOT OUT (P0302 / P0352) AND THE PROBLEM CONTINUES . THE STEERING IS ROUGH AND MAKES NOISE WHILE TURNING , ESPECIALLY WHEN VEHICLE IS COLD . THE SOUND IS REALLY LOUD . MY VEHICLE HAS STALLED A FEW…
The contact owns a 2023 Ford Explorer. While the contact’s son was driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle shuddered and shook violently. The driver noticed a strong fuel odor inside the vehicle. The hood was raised, and the fuel odor was much stronger. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The contact’s son, who is a certified mechanic, used a diagnostic machine to retrieve DTC: P0300, P0304, P0305, P0306, and P0352, indicating several cylinder misfires. The vehicle was towed to the dealer the following day and was diagnosed with three incorrectly misaligned cylinders. The contact was informed that the three cylinders had been realigned. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was…
I PURCHASED MY FORD WHILE IT WAS STILL UNDER THE WARRANTY. I TOOK IT TO A DEALER BECAUSE I WAS LOSING POWER WHILE DRIVING IN A CERTAIN GEAR AT A CERTAIN RPM AFTER THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES. I WAS TOLD IT WAS A WIRING ISSUE WHICH I HAD THE DEALER FIX. BY THIS TIME I WAS CLOSE TO THE WARRANTY BEING UP. IT DIDNT FIX THE ISSUE. THE VEHICLE LOSES POWER INTERMITTENTLY OR STUTTERS. I GET P0352 CODES. I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH IT BECAUSE IT IS INTERMITTENT BUT RECENTLY THE WIRING HARNESS MELTED ON AN IGNITION COIL. I HAVE REPLACED THE IGNITION COILS, THE PIG TAIL, THE SPARK PLUGS, CHANGED TRANSMISSION FLUID, RECHECKED ALL THE CABLES, AND ONCE THE DEALER REPROGRAMMED THE PCM. IT HAS…
On July 25, 2026 when starting my vehicle, it began to shake violently and I receive numerous errors, including a check engine light and displays in the infotainment, indicating there were engine and transmission errors with the vehicle. I received a text message notification and in app notification from GMC indicating that there was a critical error and provided error code P0352. This appears to be an error related to a faulty engine, this is the 6.2L V8, which is known to be problematic by GMC. Had this happened while I was driving on the interstate three minutes later, it could’ve resulted in great bodily harm or death to both myself and the general public around me. GMC was later able to…
WHILE ACCELERATING THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO RANDOMLY SPUTTER/HESITATE. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED WITH FAULT CODE (P0352) AND CONTINUED TO SPUTTER/HESITATE DURING ACCELERATION PROCESS. P0352: questions drivers ask
What does code P0352 mean?
P0352 is a generic OBD-II powertrain code. Its standard definition is "Ignition Coil 'B' Primary/Secondary Circuit". The code tells you which system set the fault, not which part failed; the owner reports on this page show what it meant in practice for 5 car models.
Which cars get code P0352 most often?
In NHTSA owner complaints, P0352 is mentioned most for the Dodge Dart (2), Chevrolet Malibu (1), Ford Explorer (1), across 5 models and model years 2012 to 2025. Popular models collect more reports because more of them are on the road.
Is there a recall for code P0352?
No NHTSA recall text names P0352 directly. 2 recalls on the cars that report this code concern the same component owners name most (Engine); they may or may not relate to the code. Check your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
What should I do if my car shows P0352?
Write down when the code appeared and what the car did (warning lights, loss of power, noises, speed, weather). Check your VIN for open recalls at nhtsa.gov/recalls, ask a dealer or independent workshop to read the stored freeze-frame data before anyone clears the code, and keep the repair order. If the car loses power in traffic, stop driving it. CarHooq does not diagnose: these are owner reports and official recall notices, not repair advice.
How this page was made
CarHooq read the text of every owner complaint filed with NHTSA for 19 US and European brands (model years 2012 onwards) and picked out the diagnostic trouble codes owners wrote down. This page lists every mention of P0352. The definition is the generic SAE J2012 wording; a carmaker may use the code slightly differently. Nothing here is a diagnosis. Data: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation (public domain), retrieved November 3, 2026. How CarHooq reports are made.
