Camshaft Position Sensor 'B' Circuit

Low oil pressure light came on and engine making loud noise. Had towed to Way Brothers Ford in Hawkinsville GA 183 BROAD STREET HAWKINSVILLE GA 31036 PHONE 478-892-9141. Original diagnostic check on day vehicle failed [XXX]: "diag found code p0365 p0369 found oil pump belt broken necessary to remove and replace engine..." On repair invoice when engine was replaced [XXX]: "engine oil pump belt loose causing the engine to lose oil pressure; engine has internal damage; low on compression". I HAVE PAID A TOTAL OF $3,775 TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE AND THE DEALER STATES THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE REGARDING REIMBURSING THIS COST SO THEY ARE REFUSING TO REIMBURSE THE COST…

When I come to a stop, either at a red light or stop sign, and I have my foot on the brake, and come to a complete stop. The engine would idle rough and then would either die on me, or if I have time, I would put the driver selector switch into neutral and give it some gas before the engine quits. I have a OBD2 reader for my IPad, and when this happens, usually the codes P0365, or P0369 occur. I have had my truck into the shop numerous times to get fixed, and they have replaced the Cam Sensor for those P0365, and P0369 codes, but the problem still exists.

My engine check light came on and it said Engine Fault Service Now, with a wrench signal exposed. I PURCHASED MY JEEP COMPASS JANUARY OF 2020. SUMMER OF 2020 MY CAMSHAFT AND CRANKSHAFT SENSOR WENT OUT COMPLETELY SHUTTING DOWN MY CAR, THEN JANUARY OF 2021 MY CAMSHAFT SENSOR WENT OUT AGAIN. The contact owns a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated while driving approximately 55 MPH, the vehicle shifted into Limp Mode. The contact stated that she pulled over and when the gear was shifted to park (P), the brake vacuum pump failed. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was then towed to her residence. The contact stated that an independent mechanic went to her residence and diagnosed the vehicle. The independent mechanic retrieved DTC: P0365 for the camshaft position sensor. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP FEB 2026 FOR TURBO/WASTEGATE REPAIR (P0299). MARCH 22, 2026, VEHICLE STALLED AND SCREEN SAID TO SHIFT TO NEUTRAL AND PUSH TO START AGAIN. CAR WOULD CRANK BUT NOT START (SOUNDS LIKE THERE IS NO COMPRESSION). HAD VEHICHLE TOWED TWO MILES TO RESIDENCE AND CONNECTED TO OBDII SCANNER, WHICH SHOWED 6 NEW CODES (P0006, P228C, P0089, P0340, P0365, P0299).

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON, VEHICLE HAS NO POWER, CAN'T ACCELERATE. SHOWS CODES P0340 P0365 U1428. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED WITH THIS VEHICLE! I WAS ON THE FREEWAY AND THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL IS TOTALLY UNRESPONSIVE. HOLDING IT TO THE FLOOR KEPT THE SPEED STEADY UNTIL I WAS ABLE TO PULL OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD.

While driving the car, car stalled and began displaying the lightning bolt icon on the cluster. The power steering stopped working and the brake was very stiff and hard to depress. I pulled off the road and waited a few minutes and started the car again. The idle was very rough, icon was still displayed on the cluster, and car began jerking and stalled again.
