Truck downshifts into low gear, yellow wrench and engine light come on and the truck goes into limp mode, no warnings or anything. These symptoms first started about 5 months ago and I have stopped driving the truck for that time. I took it to the dealer after looking it up and seeing there was a recall 26S28 for the molded leadframe. At the dealer they told me they couldn't perform the service because my truck was showing codes: P061A-00, P0720-00, and P0722-00 and they needed: P0705, P0706, P0707, P1702 to perform the recall service. My codes also point to the molded leadframe but the speed sensors instead of the range sensors.

Car stalled soon after start up showing many faults in the system. Initially thinking it was the battery with cold weather I took it to the dealership and had them look at it/replace the battery. The next day it stalled again the exact same way. I read the codes that it was showing and it came back with P061a U1011 and U1028. Was able to get it to another dealership to look at it and they performed computer updates and resets. I picked it up from the dealership and it died again a mile down the road with the same issue. They were able to get it back to the dealership where it died on them again. They have not been able to identify the issue but are wanting me to come pick up the car. The car…

Ongoing issues with rough idle. Threw a couple generic lean codes (p0171 and p0174) that did not stay. Stored code p061a:00-28. On my third dealer. Vehicle randomly shut off at stop sign with no codes thrown whatsoever. Tech believes the issue is the throttlebody. Ford Corp says it passes their tests and will not warranty the replacement. Ford Corp Basically said I have to wait till total part failure. Shutting off in traffic is obviously dangerous.

I am reporting a vehicle safety failure and dealership diagnostic non-compliance regarding Safety Recall 26S28 (NHTSA Campaign 26V237000) on my 2017 Ford F-150. While accelerating, the vehicle suddenly lost its transmission output shaft speed sensor signal, dropping the truck into a dangerous, low-power fail-safe "Limp Mode" that locked the transmission into 3rd/5th gear. An advanced diagnostic scan prior to dealership service confirmed stored trouble codes P0722 (Output Shaft Speed Sensor) and P061A. I brought the vehicle to a certified Ford dealership for the safety recall remedy. The dealership applied a software update and dismissed my hardware failure complaint, stating no active codes…

The transmission is malfunctioning. The vehicle loses power, and can not accelerate or maintain speed while driving. I have had to pull over on expressways multiple times to shut vehicles off to reset the issues. The vehicle has been inspected by a Mechanic and determined the P0722 Output Sensor is bad. Also, report error code P061A. I have spoken with and attempted to schedule appointments with two different Ford Dealerships that have stated the part is not available and they will not/can not schedule an appointment to repair the issue. This is a recurring issue.
