Warranty will be over in 60 days; the Catalyst Coverter is going back, the Audi dealer and Audi Corporate are delaying the fixture do to some mis communication between dealer and corporate. The problem has to do with DEF gases not being cleanup. The error code is P20EE00 and the engine light is on. The part is under warranty and Audi Corporate is delaying the fixt because the do not wish to pay for the cost. They have had my vehicle for a full week and no decision when to replace the part. I strongly believe they want the warranty to expire so the customer has to pay for cost of the catalyst. The dealer has verified that part is under warranty but corporate does NOT response to the dealer.0

My IntelliBeam function stops working sometimes, I can still use the lights as normal but the IntelliBeam function stops every so often and starts working after about 2 to 10 mins. Lane departure warning stops every so often and will start working after 1 to 10 mins, I have noticed that when it stops working at night time then the IntelliBeam function stops working also. When I press the on/off button for lane departure then it will say that lane departure is unavailable right now. I have been getting a p20ee code showing something is wrong with SCR nox sensor 2. Scan tool reveals that the sensor works normal and then stops. Once I clear the code then it works good for a few days.

P20EE: questions drivers ask

What does code P20EE mean?

P20EE is a manufacturer-specific powertrain code (engine, transmission, fuel and emissions), so its exact definition depends on the carmaker and is not in the generic OBD-II list. 11 owners reported it to NHTSA, most often for the Ram 1500 (5), GMC Sierra (2), Audi Q7 (1); their reports describe what happened.

Which cars get code P20EE most often?

In NHTSA owner complaints, P20EE is mentioned most for the Ram 1500 (5), GMC Sierra (2), Audi Q7 (1), across 6 models and model years 2014 to 2020. Popular models collect more reports because more of them are on the road.

Is there a recall for code P20EE?

No NHTSA recall text names P20EE directly. 6 recalls on the cars that report this code concern the same component owners name most (Engine); they may or may not relate to the code. Check your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls.

What should I do if my car shows P20EE?

Write down when the code appeared and what the car did (warning lights, loss of power, noises, speed, weather). Check your VIN for open recalls at nhtsa.gov/recalls, ask a dealer or independent workshop to read the stored freeze-frame data before anyone clears the code, and keep the repair order. If the car loses power in traffic, stop driving it. CarHooq does not diagnose: these are owner reports and official recall notices, not repair advice.

How this page was made

CarHooq read the text of every owner complaint filed with NHTSA for 19 US and European brands (model years 2012 onwards) and picked out the diagnostic trouble codes owners wrote down. This page lists every mention of P20EE (including sub-code forms such as P20EE00). Manufacturer codes have no public standard definition, so CarHooq shows only what owners reported. Nothing here is a diagnosis. Data: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation (public domain), retrieved November 3, 2026. How CarHooq reports are made.
